Send wine or alcohol with OlaBox
We have prepared a small guide for you to send wine with Olabox:
- Preparation of the wine:
Choose the bottles of wine you want to send.
Make sure the bottles are well-sealed and labeled.
2. Secure packaging:
Use special wine boxes that provide adequate protection.
At OlaBox, we have a wide variety of boxes so you can send as many bottles as you want. Make sure the bottles do not move inside the box, as this will reduce the risk of breakage. If you prefer, we can pack them for you using our boxes.
3. Labeling and documentation:
Provide us with the most precise information possible about the destination address, phone number, and email. Indicate if the recipient is a company or an individual, or both, and any other information you think might be useful for the driver in the delivery country.
Check if you need any special permits or additional documentation to send alcohol, especially if it is an international shipment. If you don’t know where to start with this process, at OlaBox we can help and inform you.
4. Choose the shipping service:
Standard shipping, urgent shipping, with insurance, etc.
5. Shipment tracking:
Once sent, you will receive a tracking number.
With this tracking number, you will be able to monitor the status of the shipment in real-time to know when it will arrive at its destination.
6. Delivery confirmation:
Once the wine has been delivered, confirm with the recipient that they received the package in good condition and can enjoy it.
No exceptions for countries, customs, breakages... it seems easy but when more extras come into play, the process can become complicated. So don't hesitate to ask us about shipping wine to non-EU countries, our additional merchandise insurance, the different export and import customs, and any other questions you may have.
